About the winery
The winery where these wines are made is in Melgar de Abajo, province of Valladolid. We harvest by hand into baskets of about 21 kilos, which are taken immediately to the winery, where, as they enter the destemmer, another selection is made before they are sent to the fermentation vats. All this is done quickly so that the grapes arrive as healthy as possible, so that no more than 2 hours pass from picking to entering the fermentation vat. Our vineyards are under the influence of the banks of the River Cea, lying right beside it.
