About the winery

Bodegas Carodorum is a family winery located about seven kilometres from Toro, in the Toro D.O., whose first stone was laid in 2003. It is run by brothers Guillermo and Luis Ángel Diez-Rodríguez, who carry on the winegrowing tradition inherited from their mother, Carmen Rodríguez, and their grandparents. They work century-old Tinta de Toro vineyards and make wine by hand in small quantities, combining clay jars, wooden vats and oak barrels with stainless steel tanks and modern equipment. Their range of reds includes Carodorum Issos, Carodorum de Autor, Carodorum Selección Especial and Carodorum Único, and the family itself encourages visitors to come and see the winery in person.
