Within the Rioja Alta sub-zone there are several hundred wineries of different kinds, both in size and in how they make their wines, all of excellent quality; their ownership structures also differ: some are public limited companies, others cooperatives and others are purely family businesses. Well, a delegation from Apoloybaco had the good fortune to visit one of these family wineries in early April 2019.
