About the winery
Dehesa de los Canónigos is one of the great historic estates of the Ribera del Duero which, despite having changed hands several times, has managed to keep its boundaries practically intact. Its religious-sounding name, which has also endured over the years, comes from its link to the clergy, the estate's first owner: it belonged to the Chapter of Valladolid Cathedral, made up of 22 canons, hence its name.
