About the winery
Don Pedrones is a family winery in Fuentesnuevas, in the municipality of Ponferrada, right at the heart of the D.O. Bierzo, where wine is part of the family's own history. It works with the two most representative grapes of the area: Godello for the white and Mencía for the rest of the range. Its wines are grouped under the Pethiox line, with five references: Cielo, a Godello; a Mencía clarete; a young red; a crianza with twelve months in barrel; and Distinción, a long-aged red with twenty-two months. The winery organises visits and tastings, and options, availability and conditions are arranged directly with the family.
