About the winery
One day we started dreaming of setting up a winery and that was the beginning of El Hato y El Garabato, a family project that is our way of understanding life. In 2015, after a few years learning in wineries in different countries and working with incredible people who shared their knowledge and passion for wine with us, our tiny project began in the Arribes Denominación de Origen. We see Arribes as a fascinating, almost wild area, a lost corner of Spain with vineyards of Portuguese soul.
