About the winery
Don Francisco Casas Gómez was born at the end of the 19th century in Navalcarnero (Madrid). From a very young age he devoted himself to selling wines from the area, until in 1942 he decided to create his own winery, the forerunner of today's Bodegas Francisco Casas S.A., work that would be continued by his heirs, with four generations of the family now having devoted themselves to making some of the best wines of Toro. In 1965, with a view to complementing its wine offering, the family acquired a new winery in Morales de Toro (Zamora).
