About the winery
Danish winemaker Thyge Benned started Bodega Frontio with the ambition of making seasonal, handmade organic wines defined by the quality of the grapes and the soil and by minimal intervention in the winemaking process, using indigenous yeasts and low extraction. Thyge had a day job as a natural gas trader at Maersk Oil, but was always thirsty for more wine and winemaking. He moved to Arribes in Spain in 2016 to pursue his passion and make wine on the edge.
