Bodega Gonzalo Beltrán makes its wines in Ronda, at the foot of the Tajo gorge, with organic farming and biodynamic principles: they work the land following the phases of the moon, treat the vines with plant preparations and do everything by hand. The Beltrán family has been linked since 1866 to La Nogalera, an old terraced market garden irrigated by a channel, and in 2013 bought the Copero estate in La Indiana, beside the river Guadalcobacín, where it planted some 4.5 hectares of Viognier, Monastrell, Garnacha, Petit Verdot, Malbec and a little Pedro Ximénez. From there come the Resilencia wines, in Pedro Ximénez, Viognier, Monastrell and red versions, and Perezoso Tinto. The Nogalera experience includes a guided walk around that estate and a tasting of four wines with tapas of local produce in the shade of an olive tree.
