About the winery
Bodega La Serrana is in Toral de los Vados, in El Bierzo, and makes its wines under the D.O. Bierzo from grapes grown in its own vineyards, many of them over a hundred years old, which lets it control the whole process. It has now reached 25 years in business. Its main brand is Uttaris, with a young 100% Mencía red, fresh and fruity, made for sharing with friends; a crianza aged twelve months in oak; and a Godello white. Its most special label is Bagante crianza, a limited-production Mencía from century-old bush vines. The house rounds off its range with Vermut Bandolero.
