Bodega Luisyana

◍ Málaga

About the winery

Bodega Luisyana is the family winery of siblings Christopher Scott Myers and Leigh, originally from Louisiana in the United States, who settled in Andalusia and decided to make wine in the Serranía de Ronda. Their Syrah vines were planted in 2005 on rolling hills of sandy clay loam, at around 750 metres and dry-farmed, next to Ronda la Vieja (Acinipo), and the wine is made at their facilities in Arriate. They belong to the DOP Sierras de Málaga, Serranía de Ronda subzone, and aim for handcrafted wines with farming attentive to each vine. They host group experiences with a guided tasting of three wines in the vineyard itself and a meal by a private chef, with the option of visiting the production area.
