About the winery
Pomar is in the heart of the Ribera del Duero at km 292.5 of the N-122, the road that crosses the whole denomination from east to west, from which most of the area's vineyards and wineries can be seen. It is only 10 km from Roa, home of the headquarters of the Ribera del Duero Denominación de Origen, and 3 km from the province of Valladolid. Four centuries ago, stonemasons from Galicia came here to work building the churches and palaces of the area; they are the first Pomars we have records of in Castile.
