About the winery
Hidden in Olivares de Duero is a manor house that the Marquis of Olivares had built, with stables, cellars and other facilities. The building was an inn and a Jesuit convent. Carlos Moro took it over, restoring the buildings and the small, distinguished winery to create a wine with character in keeping with its history and at the same time adapted to today's technology. Rento comes from the Renaissance, the period the noble house dates from, and it is included in the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin as a winery for production and ageing.
