About the winery
1948: in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the cradle of Catalan cava, Josep Rosell and Juan Formosa began making cava from the wine produced in their vineyards. 1955: creation of the first Rosell & Formosa cellars, the main headquarters of our winery. This is where our product is made, stored and «disgorged». 1984: Rosell & Formosa acquired a new property, the «new cellar». There our production is automated and shipped to all the national and international markets where our brand is present.
