About the winery

The San Bernabé de Cosuenda cooperative, in the Cariñena district of Zaragoza, was founded between the fifties and sixties by the village's growers. In 1997 it joined the cooperatives of Villanueva de Huerva, Alfamén and Aguarón and the Cariñena SAT to form Grandes Vinos, which today brings together more than 700 families with vineyards at different altitudes in the D.O.P. Cariñena, on stony soils and swept by the cierzo wind. Garnacha carries a lot of weight in their wines, which are grouped into ranges such as Anayón, Corona de Aragón, Monasterio de las Viñas, El Circo and the alcohol-free Núbilo. Guided visits take place at the Cariñena facilities and, on some weekends, in Aguarón, and finish with a tasting.
