About the winery
Bodega San Marcos, located in Almendralejo, was founded in 1980 by growers from the prolific “Tierra de Barros” area of the Ribera del Guadiana, known for its perfect combination of climate and clay soil that provides the ideal environment for growing vines. An adventurous spirit and the ambition to expand led San Marcos to venture into international markets, which has taken us to 35 countries, in markets as competitive as Europe, Asia and North America.
