About the winery
Located in a privileged setting, surrounded by vineyards, next to the monastery of La Estrella, a short distance from Briones, the Castillo de Davalillo and the town of San Asensio. Bodegas Señorío de la Estrella was born in 1987 in the heart of Rioja Alta, bringing together a group of historic growers from San Asensio who made wine in their own cellars, as a response to the great challenges and opportunities that lay ahead with Spain's entry into Europe.
