About the winery
Bodegas Sietecerros stands on the Pago de Villaester, in the municipality of Pedrosa del Rey (Valladolid), within the D.O. Toro. It was founded in 2001 by the Rodicio López de Letona family at the heart of a 500-hectare farming estate, 55 hectares of which are their own vineyards planted on the best plots. It works solely with Tinta de Toro, which goes into two labels: Quebrantarrejas, a young red, and Valdelazarza, available as a roble and a crianza. The winery has stainless steel tanks, a climate-controlled barrel room with French and American oak, its own laboratory and a tasting room in a separate building.
