About the winery
Born in Nava del Rey, David Aguado continues the family project that began in Nava del Rey, in the heart of the D.O. Rueda, the cradle of rancio wines, the famous wines of “La Nava”: full-bodied soleras made through oxidative ageing that supplied the markets of northern Spain more than 100 years ago. After the vineyards in the area disappeared because of phylloxera, it was at the beginning of the 21st century that we resumed planting in the same spots where the vineyards had been centuries ago.
