Bodega Valdelosfrailes

◍ Valladolid

About the winery

Bodega Valdelosfrailes is located in the Valladolid municipality of Cubillas de Santa Marta and belongs to Cigales, a Denomination of Origin traditionally known for its claretes or rosés, a type of wine that re-emerged between the 1940s and the 1990s; this D.O., however, began operating in 1991 and began to emerge where red wines are concerned. The origins of Valdelosfrailes as a winery go back to the winemaking tradition of Carlos Moro's family, whose ancestors grew vines, owned cellars and made wine in the areas of Cubillas de Santa Marta and Valoria la Buena.
