About the winery
In the province of Zamora, on the westernmost side of the D.O. Toro, lies Bodega Valmartín, founded in 2010. The team is made up of Martín María Krachler, an Austrian agronomist (PhD) and oenologist who from the age of 18 ran the family winery south of Vienna, and Mª Cristina Sánchez de las Matas Valverde, a civil servant with roots in Salamanca. They chose a small village, Argujillo, with the idea of fulfilling their dream: to make the best wine possible.
