About the winery
VidAs is a newly created Asturian winery that makes wines to the quality standards of the Cangas Protected Designation of Origin. Cangas wines have been produced since the 10th century, linked to the needs of the monasteries, and for years they were recognised throughout Europe. However, the mining «boom» in the region in the last decades of the 20th century almost made the vineyards disappear.
