About the winery
The century-old Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE) launched the Viña Real brand in the 1920s, as one of the pioneers in making wines aged in oak barrels in this area. A careful balance between tradition and modernity has defined the form and substance of Viña Real. The grapes of Rioja Alavesa are at the heart of this winery. The vineyards' proximity to the old Camino Real (Royal Road) inspired its name.
