About the winery
Bodega Viña Gumiel, S.L. is located in the municipality of Gumiel de Izán (Burgos), declared a Royal Town in 1326 by King Alfonso XI the Just. The town has been a Historic-Artistic Ensemble since 1965. It is right in the Ribera del Duero district. Located on the Madrid-Burgos motorway, it is 12 km from Aranda de Duero and 68 km from the city of Burgos. It lies at an altitude of 851 metres, with a continental climate. The winery was born in 2005 to ensure the continuity of the family vineyards and with the aim of making a quality wine.
