About the winery
The Castillo family's winemaking tradition goes back several generations, which is why we have the privilege of owning century-old vineyards that yield fruit of extraordinary quality. All the wine we produce at Bodegas Zurbal is made with grapes from our own vineyards, 25 hectares in total. Among the most notable are the vineyards located 600 metres above sea level, on clay-limestone and fairly stony soil, which helps the ground retain moisture better, with all the benefits this brings to the fruit.
