About the winery
Vicente Muñoz Muñoz is the founder of Bodegas Abadía la Arroyada. He comes from a family with a long tradition in viticulture. His grandfather, Vicente Muñoz, was already making large quantities of wine in the early 20th century, which he then sold among the people of the area. Some of the vines planted by this first Vicente Muñoz are still used today to make some of the best wines of Abadía la Arroyada.
