About the winery
The Aguirre family began its personal project in the 1930s. Hilario Aguirre founded the winery bearing his name, thus fulfilling his wishes after long experience in viticulture. Know-how passed from generation to generation. His grandson Ángel Aguirre Martínez, the winery's current managing director and oenologist, has fitted it out with the latest technology in order to improve winemaking and bottling processes, and has also undertaken a process of expansion since 1998.
