About the winery

Bodegas Alonso Conde is a small family winery in Morales de Toro, in the heart of the DO Toro, making short runs with an artisan approach and a fresh, informal spirit. Its story begins in the Cantalgallo site, where the sisters who run it played with their grandparents as children, and in the drawings their father made in 1966, when he helped his grandfather in the vineyards; those sketches now illustrate every bottle. They work with Tinta de Toro and Garnacha Tinta, much of it from old vines. Their flagship wine is Cantalgallo, a Tinta de Toro aged in French oak, joined by Cantalgallo Feroz, a Tinta de Toro; Cantalgallo Curtido, from old-vine Garnacha; and Cantalgallo Rosé, from Garnacha over 60 years old aged on its lees.
