Bodegas Azpea
About the winery
The new century saw the birth of Bodegas Azpea, between the Arbayún and Lumbier gorges, a nature reserve area. Its own 17.5 hectares of vineyard are farmed following organic agriculture criteria, spread over small plots with the following varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Tempranillo, Garnacha, Viura and Moscatel de Grano Menudo. The house range of wines begins with the white, made from Viura, which has been recognised at several of the most prestigious organic agriculture competitions.
