About the winery
Bodegas Berrueco is located in Villabuena de Álava, in the Rioja Alavesa district of Álava. At Bodegas Berrueco we have spent more than 40 years devoted to growing grapes, making wine and finally bottling it. Thus, like other pioneers in Rioja Alavesa in the early 1970s, Bodegas Berrueco began selling bottled wine from its own vineyards, helping to create a new way of life in Rioja Alavesa, later known by the term «Cosecheros».
