About the winery
Located in the municipality of Pesquera de Duero, 51 km from Valladolid, set in the gentlest part of the Duero Valley. The winery is called Cantamora (the enchantment of the Moorish woman) because of its proximity to the cave of the same name where, legend has it, Moorish women seduced Christian knights. The winery was founded in 2003, with 600 square metres of facilities housing 350 barrels, 80% French oak and 20% American oak; in this way we give our wines the smoothness of French oak together with a body that only American oak can offer.
