About the winery
Bodegas Alonso González is a family winery whose beginnings date back to 1977, when «Grandfather Juaquin Zuñeda and Grandmother Maria Nieves Estibaliz» began making wine. In 1982 Maria Pilar Zuñeda and her husband Carlos Alonso González decided to devote all their efforts to continuing this tradition, shaping their dream by building the new winery in the village of Abalos, a privileged area for growing high-quality vines with a unique personality.
