About the winery
This winery was born in Corella in 1900, focused on making fortified wines by decision of its founder, Julián Hernández Malumbres. The successful reception of its wines soon boosted sales, not only in Navarra. In the 1920s, after Víctor Mateo Malumbres joined, the range of products and the winery's own vineyards were expanded. In 1925 the first vintage of red wine made with Garnacha was produced.
