Bodegas Díez Llorente was created in 2001 to continue a culture handed down from generation to generation since the 14th century. The first members of this family owned several underground cellars dug with pick and shovel from the 14th century onwards, which were used to keep wine in wooden vats. They made the wine in wine presses with a pressing system using wooden beams. The wines obtained were rosés, but in the mid-20th century the trend began to shift towards red wines.
