About the winery
For hundreds of years this family and its ancestors have made their living from viticulture, and thanks to this they have gradually selected land that would improve the quality of our wines. In the past these grapes were made in our traditional winery, where the wine was trodden in «lagos» (square cement tanks) and then transferred to large vats; all this allowed the family to make wine in the traditional way. Our oldest reference dates from 1898, the year in which grandfather Vicente made a wine that won an award at the Barcelona International Exhibition.
