About the winery
Haza del Lino is both a restaurant and a winery, in Polopos, in the Granada Alpujarra, within the D.O.P. Granada. The winery has been running since 1973 and makes natural wines from hand-harvested grapes grown organically in vineyards between 1,150 and 1,400 metres above sea level. It keeps a traditional winemaking area with large wooden vats alongside another for more contemporary wines. Its labels include Ollero Crianza, a single-varietal Syrah, Ollero Joven and Haza del Lino Monovarietal. The visit takes in the estate's vineyards, including the grandfather's viewpoint, and the winery facilities, and can end with a tasting of four wines served with house tapas. Booking is required.
