About the winery
Bodegas Hercal is located in a unique and exclusive spot with a strong historical flavour, next to the former site of the town gate in the old wall of Roa, dating from around 1300. Later in history, the old hermitage of Santo Domingo de Guzmán stood on the same site, and we still have its coat of arms and part of its medieval wall. We also have an underground cellar dug around 1800 and a dining room in grandfather's old house, more than a hundred years old.
