About the winery
Xavier Iturria completed his training in viticulture and oenology in Bordeaux. On arriving in Spain in 1999, he gained experience at several leading wineries in Ribera del Duero, Rioja and Toro. In 2009 he founded Bodegas Iturria S.L. in San Román de Hornija, on the eastern edge of the Toro appellation.
