Since 1987, Jorge Ordóñez's personal crusade has been to seek out and safeguard Spain's rich and long history of viticulture and winemaking. As the largest vine-growing region on Earth, Spain has been growing vines and making wine for millennia. Jorge's aim is to support and preserve the wealth of native grape varieties of his homeland. His philosophy rests on the belief that Spain's potential lies in its abundance of old vineyards planted with the oldest clones of native varieties.
