Bodega Lacus, in the D.O.Ca. Rioja, was founded in 1997 in Aldeanueva de Ebro (150 km from Zaragoza) by Luis Arnedo, a native of Aragon. But above all he is a talented winemaker with a deep respect for the land and the age-old traditions of Rioja. In 2005 he joined forces with Olivier Rivière (a French winemaker from Cognac) to make his wines. Yields here are very low and the best plots are selected. The aim is to make terroir wines with native grape varieties.
