About the winery
Bodegas Manuel Moneva is an Aragonese winery with a long tradition passed down from parents to children over four generations. It is located in Almonacid de la Sierra and belongs to the D.O. Cariñena. At the end of the nineteenth century, Manuel Moneva Ibáñez already had a winery with oak vats, from which he sold his wine by cart in Zaragoza. Later his son, Manuel Moneva Compés, continued to carry the wine by cart, then moved for a few years to Zaragoza to run a wine shop on the Coso, before returning to Almonacid.
