About the winery
Bodegas Máximo Abete is a family winery born of Máximo Abete's enthusiasm and love for wine, and today it continues with the renewing drive of his daughters, Yoanna and María. They focus on working with the local grape varieties Garnacha and Graciano and practise traditional, sustainable viticulture. In total they farm 15 different plots, each with its own peculiarities, but all sharing the characteristic terroir of the “Baja Montaña”. In this area, the most mountainous of the D.O.
