About the winery
In 1908 Melquíades Álvarez founded what his grandsons Melquíades and Waldo would turn, in the middle of the last century, into today's Melwa, a company name formed by joining the first syllables of their names, but above all the result of the work of three generations of winegrowers within the family. Today Juan José, Pedro and Carlos devote their time and effort to this activity.
