About the winery

Bodegas Nabal is the project of the Navarro Balbás family in Gumiel de Izán, at the heart of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, home to the vineyard that produces its wines and the source of its belief that wine is made first in the vineyard. It makes Nabal Rosé, an Albillo Mayor, Valle de Nabal, Nabal Crianza, Nabal Reserva de la Familia and Nabal Gran Reserva. Its guided visits take in the winery and its barrel room, known as La Catedral, as well as an old stone vineyard shelter, and end with a tasting and Iberian tapas. There are also tastings at the wine bar, a winemaking visit with wines from tank and barrel, an activity for children and the option of staying at the winery's own hotel.
