About the winery
“The land where wine lives” is the motto that inspires Nekeas. At an altitude of between 350 and 600 metres, with the peak of Montejurra in the background and watered by the river Sindoa, the valley of the same name in which this winery stands is an idyllic place for growing vines. Building on its former cooperative structure, the firm's successful history as we know it today began in 1992. While keeping the previous range, the prestigious winemaker Concha Vecino has instilled a new philosophy in the winery, combining winemaking tradition with new techniques.
