About the winery
Bodegas Nidia is a winery with a family tradition, now run by a young team, that makes its wines at Finca La Cabaña in La Zarza, in the municipality of Olmedo, within the D.O. Rueda. Its vines grow in poor, sandy soils beside the Adaja river, and Verdejo is its signature grape, with a range covering whites, rosés and reds made in an honest style with character. The visit takes in the production hall and the underground cellar and ends with a tasting of two wines with tapas; larger groups should check in advance. In season they also hold sunset gatherings with wine, food and live music.
