About the winery
Nivarius means ‘snow well’, a natural pit where snow is preserved all year round. It gives its name to our wines because our vineyards lie at 800 metres and face north. Owing to the low temperatures, our grapes stand out for their acidity, freshness and fruity character, key to the quality of singular white wines. And we know what we are talking about: Nivarius is the first winery in the Rioja Qualified Denominación de Origen to make only quality white wines. That is what sets us apart. That is what makes us unique.
