About the winery
We are a fourth-generation family-owned winery founded in 1915 by the Piqueras family. Bodega Piqueras is located in Almansa, in south-east Spain, 60 km from Alicante and the Mediterranean Sea. Our own vineyards are in a winegrowing area of the D.O. Almansa characterised by low-fertility soil and scarce rainfall which, combined with a semi-arid continental climate, allow us to obtain wines with high colour concentration and great aromatic richness.
