About the winery
A family winery, “Solar de Muñosancho”, under the D.O. Rueda, led by the González Huerta siblings since its birth in 1995. They named the company after their home town, Muñosancho, in the La Moraña district of Ávila. The building housing the winery rests on underground cellars dating from the late seventeenth century, where 300 oak barrels hold the ageing of its Tinta del País and lend nuance to the wine made from the noble Verdejo grape, native to the area.
