About the winery
Carmelo Rodero belongs to an old lineage of winegrowers from the riverside town of Pedrosa de Duero. His childhood was spent among vineyards and wine presses, and his earliest memories recall his grandparents making wine the traditional way. Such was Carmelo's passion that from his teenage years he began investing his first earnings in new vineyard plantings, and so, through enthusiasm, effort and sacrifice, he managed to build up a considerable estate.
